Ooh, Damsel loves this simple yet effective idea. The Door Wedge Alarm is unique and has recently been featured on TV. Just position it at the base of any door (external or internal). Any type of forced entry will set off the 120 decibel alarm.
Not recommended however if his business trip is cancelled and he comes home unexpectedly! Or your dog likes to come into bed with you.
